| Like Infusions, decoctions are commonly used herbal preparations. They are used for the harder plant substances like bark, roots and seeds. Here's a method for making decoctions:
Measurements:
1 Tsp Dried herbs or 3 Tsp Fresh herbs
1 Cup of water
Method:
1. Place herbs in a glass or steel saucepan and add the cup of water.
2. Bring the water to a boil then reduce temperature and simmer for 10-15 minutes, covered to avoid losing oils from the steam.
3. Strain into a cup, drink or refrigerate.

If you take note of what I mentioned in my post about Infusions, you cannot just copy and paste from the source as the site is protected, you have to write it out in your OWN words.
